Kerala receives Jawa bikes with the overwhelming response, Bookings full

Classic legends owned by Mahindra launched their range of bikes, Jawa classic and Jawa 42 in India during November last year. Bookings were being accepted for both of these models through their online website. Though they have not revealed their official booking numbers, latest reports claim that Kerala, God’s very own country has given them a massive response.

Jawa motorcycles have been setting up their dealerships and showrooms in all parts of the country and this process has been going full-fledged. Even before setting up the dealership networks, the brand had started to accept online bookings. Last month they officially closed online bookings as all the units until September 2019 were claimed to be sold out.

The bookings can now be done only through their dealer networks. Those who have booked the vehicle on November 2018 will have their hands on this legendary motorcycle by April 2019 after a waiting period of 6 months. Bookings which are done now on the other end will have the same waiting period of 6-7 months and will be delivered accordingly.

The company reported to have received an immaculate response and are in the process of increasing their production at the production plant in Madhya Pradesh which is getting ready on full swing. 

Anupam Thajera, the Co-founder of Classic legends recently inaugurated their showroom in Kochi. He announced that Kerala tops the list with the maximum number of bookings for Jawa and these were mostly from the youth of age group 22-30, from the regions of Kochi and Kozhikode. He also stated that they are planning to close the bookings as it is fully occupied until the 10th month of this year, i.e October. 

The bikes Jawa and the 42 feature same engines but look different standing apart in their own looks. The bikes are priced at Rs.1,55,000 and Rs.1,64,000 for Jawa Forty-Two and Jawa Standard respectively. Due to the high demand, the company seems to be having plans to postpone the launch of Jawa Perak, which was supposed to be here by the start of the second half of 2019.
