Here's more.

Line-up

The new Jawa line-up starts at Rs. 1.55 lakh

The three new models that have been unveiled are exclusive for the Indian market, and all three sport the retro-look that gave the brand a cult following.

The models - Jawa, Jawa 42, and the Jawa Perak - have been priced at Rs. 1.55 lakh, Rs. 1.64 lakh, and Rs. 1.89 lakh respectively (ex-showroom prices, Delhi).

The Jawa Perak, however, won't be immediately available.

The Jawa and the Jawa 42 will both be powered by a short stroke, liquid-cooled 293cc engine that has been tuned to produce 27bhp and 28Nm of peak torque.

Meanwhile, the Jawa Perak will sport a big bore version of the same engine that will offer 30bhp and 31Nm of peak torque.

The motorcycles will sport Jawa's signature round headlamps and fenders, bulbous fuel tanks, and dual cradle frames.

Additionally, small details like the chain guards and the seats add to the period-specific, retro looks of the motorcycles.
